Shahar Avnet

Fashion Design

"At Shenkar I discovered I didn’t know how to draw, so I learned. I understood that talent is not fixed if you believe in yourself, embrace the process, and aren't afraid of mistakes. You can build your own language”

Shahar Avnet is a fashion designer and artist. She graduated from the Fashion Design Department at Shenkar and by 2018, founded her namesake independent studio, operating from the heart of Tel Aviv. Within just a few years, the brand established itself as an international fashion label working across three main fields: couture, bridal, and ready-to-wear. Alongside her work as a designer, Avnet serves as a senior faculty member in the Fashion Design Department at the University of Haifa.

Avnet’s practice is rooted in the connection between the emotional and inner world and the dressed body, expressed through the use of colourful textiles, original printed works, and a rich visual language. The brand is guided by a philosophy that sees femininity, self-confidence, and self-acceptance as inseparable from the garment itself. From the choice of fabrics and silhouettes to the way each piece is presented and photographed. All production takes place in Israel, whether handmade in the Tel Aviv studio or through local manufacturing.

Shahar Avnet was nominated for the 2026 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Emerging Fashion Designers.
