According to the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, every individual has the right to access, either personally or through an authorized representative in writing or by a guardian, information held about them in an information database. If an individual reviews their information and finds it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, they are entitled to request that the database owner correct or delete the information. If the database owner refuses, they must notify the requester in the manner and form stipulated in the regulations. Upon the refusal of the database owner to allow access or upon notifying refusal to correct or delete information, the information requester has the right to appeal in the manner and form prescribed in the regulations.
