Michael Gordon
Visual Communication
Graphic designer, typographer and print producer Michael Gorden graduated from the Graphic Design department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 1984. He is a senior lecturer at the department of Visual Communication at Bezalel and a senior faculty member at the department of Visual Communication at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art since 2014.
Gordon designed and produced more than 400 books and catalogs in Israel and abroad, in the fields of contemporary art, architecture, cinema, artists, books, poetry, philosophy, art and literary magazines, as well as exhibition design projects. Gordon steers his work in a path that creates experience rather than visibility. He maintains a professional autonomy to formulate a distinct language, based primarily on synthesizing basic content assumptions and personal expression.
Gordon was nominated for the 2020 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Established Visual Communication Designers.
