Chanan DeLange

Product & Object Design

“Since my graduation, I have worked in three main areas that blend, separate, and feed each other. The first is personal creation, the second is academia, and the third is practice in the museal world. Simply put, product design and free design often start from the personal but always aim to create a broad space for discussion".

Designer and educator Chanan de Lange (born 1955, Israel) is a graduate of the Industrial Department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. He is particularly engaged in the human condition, the objects surrounding him, and the space around him. In 1986 he founded an independent design and architecture studio called Studio de Lange and in 2000 architect Tal de Lange joined the studio as a partner. Studio de Lange specializes in museum exhibitions, visitor centers, shops, residential projects and more.

De Lange was nominated for the 2021 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Established Product Designers.
