Designer and owner of design studio Nekuda, Avner Sadot holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and a master’s degree in Design from the Royal College of Art, London. He is a lecturer at the Industrial Design departments at Bezalel and Shenkar. Sadot began his professional path at Keter, which profoundly influenced and shaped his thinking. He believes that education is essential for the advancement of a sustainable Israeli design industry and views his design studio (established 1996) as an educational center, attended by more than 140 designers and engineers over the years.
Sadot was nominated for of the 2021 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Established Product Designers.
