Amit Trainin

Visual Communication

I consider myself not only as an illustrator but also an illustrator-entrepreneur who works to make an impact on his surroundings using the illustration’s embedded ability to communicate, convey a message, tell a story, and be a significant tool in a healing process. ‘Wrapping Memory’ illustration project commemorates the beauty of the Gaza strip area before October 7th, a project that raised over 1 million NIS for the rehabilitation of victims. Alongside the collaborations and entrepreneurship, illustrating children's books brings me a huge sense of mission. Children are the best possible audience. For some, the encounter with the illustrations in a book may be the first or only encounter with the world of art, and as such I see the act of illustration as a mission. Simple actions - cutting, pasting, drawing a line has enormous importance in the development of the child's visual and creative imagination.״
