Ori Shifrin Anavi
Product Design
Emerging Designer Award
"At the heart of my practice is an evolving question: what is a product? What stories do objects carry? How do they participate in culture, beyond function or commerce? My work aims to expand the traditional boundaries of product design by integrating critical narrative, embodied research, and craft-based methodologies - while remaining deeply connected to the discipline’s core: material, form, use, and production"
Ori Shifrin Anavi is an industrial designer and multidisciplinary visual creator, a graduate of the Industrial Design Department at Shenkar. His work operates at the intersection of serial design and material culture. Positioned between art and design, he explores the presence of objects in public space, using industrial products as raw materials for experiential and performative works that invite response and participation. Shifrin Anavi is an alumni of the EDR Center Design Program.
