Tiko (Yoav Tikochinsky and Ran Litvak)

Product Design

“The design sphere of influence begins with the client. Their idea, fantasy, motivation, and ideology, proceeding to the product itself, and continuing into its space of action and influence: what the product does, what it touches, whom it affects, what it left behind, how it changes the world. In other words: understanding the boundaries of the product and design engagement in the entire sphere defined by it”

Yoav Tikochinsky, an industrial designer, founded ‘Tiko’ in 1992. Over the years Ran Litvav had joined the studio, which specialized in the design of products destined for production - ranging from small-batch, complex items like medical robots to mass-produced, simple products like baby pacifiers. Their pride has always been in creating impact through products that reach broad and often anonymous audiences.

Since October 7th, their sphere of impact has shifted profoundly. Their experience as “hard-core” product designers is now being applied to more personal realms - such as crafting one-off prosthetics for patients in the rehabilitation wards of Tel Hashomer Hospital.

Tiko (Yoav Tikochinsky) was nominated for the 2025 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Established Product Designer.
