Golan Frydman and Eddie Gavriilidis (House of Jaffa)
Fashion Design
״House of Jaffa was born at the intersection of personal exploration and cultural
dialogue. Drawing on years of experience in the global fashion industry, we sought to
create a brand that is both deeply rooted in place and inherently universal. It became
a way to articulate the layered identities we carry shaped by heritage, movement,
and the constant act of rediscovering home. Every piece, every collection, reflects
that journey. Intimate, complex, and unapologetically alive״
Eddie Gavriilidis and Golan Frydman founded House of Jaffa in Tel Aviv in 2022, bringing together two distinct creative sensibilities shaped by years at the forefront of international fashion. Since its establishment gained recognition internationally, across retail and culture.
Gavriilidis brings a foundation in couture craftsmanship and technical precision, shaped by his training at Central Saint Martins and Istituto Marangoni. His practice is research-led and materially driven, rooted in the history of art and costume. Frydman's vision is anchored in cultural storytelling and progressive design, shaped by his training at Istituto Marangoni and years leading internationally recognised fashion houses in London. He currently lectures at Shenkar and Istituto Marangoni, bridging industry practice with the next generation of designers.Together, they shape an aesthetic that merges Mediterranean spirit with gender-fluid, contemporary design.
Eddie Gavriilidis and Golan Frydman (House Of Jaffa) are nominated for the Edmond de Rothschild Design Award 2026 for Established Fashion Designers.
