Sasson Kedem (Kedem Sasson)
Fashion Design
“Sometimes, the body-fabric dialogue is created in a matter of minutes; sometimes it takes a lifetime. This profession undoubtedly saved my life, enabled me to understand that the sea really lay to the west. When you create a clear language, everything is called a creation; you may get sidetracked at times, but always return to your center".
Sasson Kedem is an established Israeli fashion designer, active for over 30 years. In 1992, he founded KEDEM SASSON, an independent fashion house that has become one of the distinctive voices in Israeli fashion. Alongside his work for the label, he has also designed costumes for film, television, and theatre.
The question that has shaped his practice from the beginning - whether it is possible to alter the proportions of the body while maintaining harmony - has defined his distinctive design language. His work is characterised by sculptural cuts, clean lines, and a personal interpretation of the body’s silhouette.
Over the years, the fashion house has expanded into several lines, including KEDEM, AMMA, and KEDEM SASSON MEN, while maintaining a commitment to creative independence, material exploration, and an ongoing dialogue between body, movement, and garment.
Kedem was nominated for the 2026 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Established Fashion Designers.
