Yael Bodasher
Product & Object Design
Independent designer Yael Bodasher is a graduate of the Visual Communication department at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art and a lecturer there. She is the founder and creative director of a branding and strategy studio specializing in holistic creative direction—from the bird’s eye view to the meticulous work involved in the trade. Bodasher recounts that her work starts in a story, research, name formation; it continues to the visual identity, and ends sometimes with the design of a staircase, and sometimes of a website. It may consist of inventing a signature dish for a restaurant or designing a piece of jewelry. It is always accompanied by text, as language produces consciousness. It also involves sound and flavor, scent and memories, psychology, economics and social science.
Bodasher was nominated for the 2022 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Emerging Visual Communication Designers.
