“We can understand a piece of jewelry in a dual way. On the one hand, it is an object whose existence depends on the body, physically and essentially, and which is directly connected to the person wearing it and to individual expression. On the other hand, facing outward and communicating with the environment, with its design features and cultural and aesthetic traditions, jewelry brings us together".
Goldsmith, designer and curator Daniella Saraya has a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design from Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art. She studied curatorship at Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts, and jewelry design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
