Ben Kook
Product & Object Design
Designer Ben Kook is a graduate of the Inclusive Industrial Design department at Hadassah Academic College and holds a master’s degree in Strategic Design from Politecnico di Milano, as part of the program for emerging talents at Manfrotto. He worked as project manager, innovation manager, and senior industrial research and development designer at VIS. His projects won numerous international design awards and are at the top of international bestseller lists in their categories. Cook has three registered patents and he specializes in strategic design, product innovation, product development and strategic market research.
Since April 2019 he is heading a startup company in the field of urban parenthood, and following the COVID-19 pandemic, he has launched—together with two other collaborators—an Israeli-Guatemalan startup company that develops a smart mechanic ventilation system manufactured locally in developing countries, with the aim of helping to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Central and South America.
Cook was nominated for the 2021 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Emerging Product Designers.
