Anat Golan
Textile,Fashion & Jewerly Design
Contemporary goldsmith and jewelry designer Anat Golan holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree cum laude in Industrial Design from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Her work seeks to express ideas, feelings and experiences through jewelry, objects, and Judaica. Golan’s production processes combine in-depth conceptual research, an experimental materials lab, traditional goldsmithing techniques, and skilled handcrafting.
In Golan’s view, contemporary jewelry design is a relevant platform for the expression of ideas, thoughts and feelings, an opportunity to charge objects with complex messages and send them out to interact with the environment. Jewelry worn on the body carries the potential for breaking boundaries and for generating interpersonal communication.
Golan was nominated for the 2022 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Emerging Fashion, Textile, and Jewelry Designers.
