Ada Wardi

Visual Communication Design

Independent designer and senior lecturer at the Department of Graphic Design – Visual Communication, NB Haifa School of Design, from which she graduated. Ada Wardi designed book covers for nearly all of Israel’s publishing houses, and exhibition catalogs for the Israel Museum, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the National Library of Israel.

She was art director at Keter and Modan Publishing House. Wardi initiated and conducted independent research on the designer and typographer Moshe Spitzer, and this research was ultimately published as a book entitled “The Story of Moshe Spitzer and his Publishing House Tarshish,” which she edited and designed in collaboration with Ariel Vardi and Meron Aran.

Wardi was nominated for the 2020 Edmond de Rothschild Design Award for Established Visual Communication Designers.
